Berkshire War Memorials
on the wall to the north of the tower is a memorial (WM6311) to the poet Wilfred Owen.
In the Museum of English Rural Life there is a Book of Remembrance (WM5864) which contains a slightly different list from the one in the Clock Tower and photographs of many of the men listed.
By WW2 it was a University and the WW2 Memorial (WM5845) is a bronze plaque mounted inside the Clock Tower
There is a memorial (WM6310) to Rupert Thorneloe who was killed in Afghanistan in 2009

READING - University
The Memorials are all at the London Road Campus. During WW1 it was a University College and the Memorial (WM5013) is in the form of a clock tower inside which is a panel listing the names of former students who fell in WW1on the wall to the north of the tower is a memorial (WM6311) to the poet Wilfred Owen.
