Berkshire War Memorials
Reading Post Office was located on Broad Street during WW1
The Roll of Honour (WM5260)
The Roll of Honour was compiled shortly fter WW1 but the only copies known are in 'Berkshire and the War' and are unreadable
The WW1 Memorial (WM5014)
The memorial to those who fell was located for many years on the wall of the Post Office in Friar Street and was moved to the link corridor of the sorting office on Caversham Road. As this is being demolished to make way for the new station interchange, the fate of the memorial is unknown
