Berkshire War Memorials
Located on King's Road
Huntley and Palmers were the Reading Biscuit Factory occupying a huge site between Kings Road and the Railway to the east of the prison.

The last remaining Huntley and Palmers building on Kings Road
They had one general memorial and several departments had their own. The ones identified are:-

READING - Central - Huntley & Palmers
Located on King's Road

- a general memorial to men who worked at the Biscuit factory and died in WW1
Foreign Section (WM5240)
- to men of the Foreign Section of Huntley and Palmers
Sugar Wafer Section (WM5843)
- to men of the Foreign Section of Huntley and Palmers
