VALE OF WHITE HORSE - St Helen Without
St Helen's is the main church in Abingdon. When the Borough of Abingdon was established in 1894 the parts of the parish which lay outside the urban area became St Helen's Without and was made up of the hamlets of Shippon, Cothill and Dry Sandford.
